I especially love Erika Lewis (second from audience right). Her moves and expressions are truly out there.

What a trip they are! Great sound, costumes, and movement.

I also love to see songs like these reinterpreted in this way, giving them new meanings and life and introducing them to new audiences.

Sorry to hear you're still experiencing writer's block. I'm feeling a bit of that myself and bought a stack of discount rock books yesterday to get reinspired. Your post of this quirky group is inspiring too!

Hey Ellen, glad you enjoyed that. I'm also swamped with other work stuff, and I am not good at multitasking! (I'm not sure anyone is but some people can fake it...) I look forward to you getting inspired!

Awesome! Great find! I particularly loved the Blondie/Kiss mashup. Those songs really do sound alike! It's so clear when you hear them do it! And the choreography and makeup/costumes are amazing. I feel like it was filmed at an odd frame rate as the movements were so unnatural. But maybe it's my eyesight.

Thanks Steve! Interesting question about the frame rate. They clearly practiced to make the movements almost spastic, but maybe that's not enough to get that effect? Anyway, happy halloween!

I discovered them by accident on YouTube a few months ago. I guess they’ve been around for awhile. They do some very interesting arrangements, and as you say, easy to look at.
