This compilation works so well for me and is a great example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.
While I’m not the biggest fan of mashups, when they work well they usually work REALLY well. One of my favorites is She Wants Revenge’s Tear You Apart and Bauhaus’ Bela Lugosi’s Dead. Thank you for both of these! I just randomly listened to some of Once Again. The link defaults to Greg Foat, and that's just gorgeous, so far my favorite. That mashup is amazing and I agree about the video. Most of those dancers must be grandmothers now, if they are still with us. Sort of sobering! I'm also not usually a fan of mashups-- too many DJs are just lazily throwing stuff together, but occasionally something really hits. This one is better than the originals IMO. It would have been a perfect track for clubbing back in the day. thanks!
