Metal has always been about the Christmas song from what I remember (can’t give examples off the top of my head), so that pairing isn’t new, but I appreciate you sharing more Floor Jansen stuff (and with Marko). It’s impressively straightforward yet distinctively them. I wish they didn’t wait for the end to sing together though...
Thanks Steve! I recently saw a medley of metal Christmas guitar solos, originally by Blind Guardian, Dokken and lots of others, performed (of course) by two Japanese shredders. It was quite hilarious.
I've been getting sucked into some major work projects and am not sure I'll be able to keep writing or reading music stuff on a regular basis--we'll see. Your column will always be at or near the top of the stack though! Have a wonderful holiday!
