Although a casual fan and aware of the different vocalists over the years. I didn't know about the breakdown during the US Tour. Fascinating how they managed to overcome the stresses and strains and that there are so many wonderful female vocalists. A unique band.

They simply announced it as Anette feeling ill, but never gave any further information. Yes, all three of their vocalists were amazing. That sound, with the soprano voice soaring over the heavy metal, pretty much became the signature of symphonic metal.

100% on Jon Lord. He’s probably my favorite rock keyboardist. So creative. I haven’t heard much symphonic metal, but I plan on giving it listen! And you’re welcome!

I love the Deep Purple Concerto for Group and Orchestra! Early Deep Purple is so good. I wish they had written more pieces for orchestra.

Jon Lord was ahead of his time. If you haven't heard much modern symphonic metal, or even if you have, I hope you'll check this album out and even join our call on the 1st. Thank you for restacking!
