Thanks Daniel for the comment and for the restack. I agree the changes are not drastic, but the audiences for these artists are very different. I normally don't follow pop, so I would likely not have taken the time to research Utada if I had not heard the Koiai version of her song.
Yes I get you there. I have a small music performance studio/school and learn most about what’s popular from my students who want to learn to perform them. I teach them my side of town and they teach me theirs. It works well.
